Don't have fancy tools, but you want to have Zebra Nails? Well then it looks like this is the tut for you! I just tried this today and I like the way it came out so without further ado:

Revlon Sheer Nude (nude nail)
Cover Girl Silver Lightning (clear glitter)
OPI My Private Jet (multi-black glitter)
Sinful Black on Black (black)

Sinful Red glitter (uh... red glitter)
The key to zebra nails is having a brush that is small enough. This is why OPI generally isn't the best choice because of the "pro wide" brush. That is why I'm only using it for accents. Brands with small enough brushes include Sinful, Revlon (sometimes), and NYC.
Step 1: Start with cleaner and better groomed nails than mine.
Step 2:
Cover nails with a base. I choose a nude glaze, but you can use white. White tends to come out quite chalky a lot of times and can take a while to dry. Use 2 coats of the base
Step 3:
Take your Sinful Black on Black and make a wishbone shape either at the top or bottom of your nails (you can even make a diamond in the middle).
Step 4:
Continue making bigger wishbones/diamonds around these. Do not make them exactly the same. You can even make a diagonal line that is "parallel" to one of the "V"s that you have and fill in the other direction later.
Step 5:
Keep going either down or up until you reach the other side. Notice how on my thumb and ring finer I have wishbones going in 2 directions where as I started off with them going in 1. I chose however to keep just 1 direction on my pinkie. If there are gaps in the sides, fill them in with a dot or line.
Step 6: GLITTER
Now we can have some fun and put on some glitter! To put on the glitter make sure that your brush has very little polish on it and lightly tap it onto the black guide lines. Be sure that you're conscious of the entire brush because as you're dabbing, a big glob of polish might be sneaking down the side you can't see waiting to ruin your hard work!

Step 7:
I wasn't pleased with the single size of the stripes, so I'm going to come back in with a flatter brush and use the edge to dab in little stripes between the lines. All of the nails but the thumb have been touched up.
And there it is! I hope you guys enjoy!
