Re: Buying mac books from ebay
This is a promo pamphlet for counters to give out during a launch. They are, contrary to the sellers statement, intended for the public and not just solely for artists.

MAC sometimes (rarely) produces these pamphlets. The last ones I can recall were done for Madame B and for Naturally Eccentric. There may have been more recent ones, I just can't recall atm.

Re: Buying mac books from ebay
mac doesn't make training books. the only book mac makes is the pkm, which is the one you were asking about last time. mac doesn't even teach us how to do makeup. its a prerequisite for working there. they only teach us product knowledge, and we do learn a few tips and tricks here and there from trainers and pro artists at update.

like macwhore said, this specific book is something they gave out when that collection launched. btw macwhore, the latest one was culturebloom i believe. anyway, all it shows is the looks and colors used that were on the website. i actually have access to those facecharts if you want me to PM them to you if they aren't already on specktra. what i can send it what will be in that book.

don't buy anything off ebay that says its a mac book of any sort that can teach/train you in makeup, cause there is no such thing.

Re: Buying mac books from ebay
if you're looking for a makeup training book, i would suggest something by kevin aucoin, or maybe bobbie brown. you can find these at a local bookstore, and they will be a lot more helpful.
as far as i know, the only usefull information in the kinds of mac books on ebay is the face charts. beyond that, i dont think anything would be to helpful unless your a mac employee.
ive considered buying some old 'update' books for the face charts, but people get crazy with the bidding, and they just arent worth it.
