What is an Irridescent Powder?
Is it like a blush? Like a pigment? ...
Do you like em or not?

I have the irridescent pressed powder in belightful. i like it. i use it to add shimmer to the apples of my cheeks. i wish i would of gotten in bolder color tho. the one i have is pretty light. it adds a pretty glow. and its nice cause its compacted. i dont like loose powders, i end up gettting it everywhere. not sure if that really helped you, im not familar w/everything like some of the girls on here

I want to get this one too... I am worried I will look like a disco ball. Are they subtle or ---out there--- in terms of shimmer?

The loose powder is a mica-based powder that can be used to add a sheen/sparkle to the skin. It is very concentrated so you don't need much. For a more subtle effect you can also add it to a foundation or even a moisturizer to create a very nice effect on the skin. I use it a lot and people I've used it on mixed with foundation love it because it gives a life and depth to the skin which is often destroyed when a foundation is used. You obviously can't mix the pressed powder into a foundation or moisturizer so I've not used the pressed versions as they are less versatile.

Whether they are subtle or not depends entirely on your application technique. It's easier to get a subtle effect mixing the powder into a foundation than it is applying it directly with a brush although you can get a subtle effect this way if you are careful. It's not quite like a glitter as the sparkle is a little more muted and the particles are much smaller.

One tip you might find useful is if you pick up powder with a brush, before you apply it to your face, tap the excess off and also apply the first stroke to the back of your hand - this will really remove excess product but leave enough on the brush for your face.

I have the loose powder in Golden Bronze. I LOVE IT! I must say that I like it even better than the MSF. The closest thing I can compare it to is Gold Deposit and it's finer than that with a really pretty sheen to its finish. I am going to by Silver Dusk next.

I have a few of these. They can be as sheer or dramatic as you want them to be. Experiment with different brushes and application technique to get the look you want from them.

I love both the loose and the pressed. I have Ice in the pressed and it's a pretty, shimmery pink. Perfect for layering over blush. And Silver Dusk in the loose is gorgeous! I've had a tub of it for years and it's still about 80% full. It's nice on the cheekbones or collarbone.

Perhaps that's why they've shrunk the size of tub! My Silver Dusk is about 3 years old and it contains 30g - current tubs contain just 12g (40% of the original size)! I bet they haven't reduced the price to 40% though.

Sneaky! Lucky for people with the bigger tub, it'll take ages before we need to repurchase-- I love shimmer but I honestly don't know when I will use up Silver Dusk, you need so little at at time.
