Problem with my Slimshine

Hi guys,

This summer I bought “Arbor” from the Slimshine collection.

Last week, I just noticed that the texture was kind of pasty and melted L

I put it in the fridge for a while and it was good, but when I bring it into my purse the texture returns melted.

Have you ever have that kind of problem with your Slimshine?

It’s very sad because I love the color …

I don’t know if I still have the cash receipt … If I don’t, do you think they could exchange it for something else like “Tango” lipstick from Mattene?

I could be wrong but i think the return policy for Mac is 30 days with receipt, so if you bought it within the last 30 days you should be ok to exchange.

I've never had this problem with my Slimshines however the ones we have at the counter have that same problem. The only reason is because they're under the hot lights all day long so they melt. Like I said though, my personal ones haven't done that.

My Urgent! did that, when I left it in a car. The other slimshines I have are still great, and I find that application is still the same - I use a lipbrush with Urgent! anyway.

& I figure that if something changes texture/colour due to misuse or carelessness (i.e. you drip water on a shadow, etc.) it's kinda your own fault & that return rates are a factor in (rising) cosmetics prices.

Well, maybe it's what happen to mine I left it in a car ... last summer probably!

I stupidly bought about six of them over the summer and then never used them. They have all stayed in the same drawer under the same conditions, but over the last two weeks I started playing with them and found that one of them, Bare, has gone all melty. So some slimshines may have this issue and are not due to handling, misuse, or carelessness.

I suppose that some slimshines have this issue.
I hope the texture of Mattene will be better ...
What you've done was a good test.
