Unhappy Scared to apply blush and dark/brown eyeshadow
Throughout my teen years, and still now, I used to have terrible acne scars and acne on my cheeks . It was ALWAYS on my cheeks. Never anywhere else...(weird huh?)

I also have very dark eyelids (but I"m only a NC25 ), which looks weird on my light complextion... (sp?)

So I really don't want to use anything that would bring back those colors into my face, cuss if i have if for free now, why bother applying it on? xD

It always looks like I have brown eyeshadow on...its kinda saddening cuss i love bright colors.

Anyone out there like this?

RE your eyelids, again a good base product is important. Use something like Benefit Lemonaid or a MAC Paintpot to cover your discolouration so that you can start afresh with your bright eyeshadow colours.

I totally agree! Benefit Lemon-aid is a color correcting base so i will help lighten your eyelids so that bright colors will work. you can also try a paint in bare canvas or base light which can help. Have you tried a lighter concealer on your eyes and cheeks? IF you apply a lighter concealer it cancels out some of the darkness on your skin. But my best recommendation is to try the Benefit Lemon-aid. I know NYC and Maybelline sell yellow and green color corrector concealer sticks if you dont want to get a pricey one but Smashbox has yellow and green foundation primers that might solve the cheek problem.

seems like your eyelids have slight discoloration, using a concealer as a base helps alot specially if its yellow-based like Benefit's Lemon-Aid or Boiing. I also like to use MAC's Soft Ochre paint pot which works amaaazingly in evening out the eyelids and preparing them for eyeshadow.. =)
