Very disappointed with the new mac offerings

Went over yesterday to check out NE, was convinced id love the Inventive Eyes Quad but it was too similar to colours i already have.
Free to Be was a bit blah for my colouring....
Lustervisions were ok, nothing amazing, but might go back for Lustreleaf
Paintstrokes ditto

Got Yogurt e/s to fill the gap though!

same thing happened to me with "inventive eyes"...but filled up a 15-pan palette to fill my void and as a result am penniless. *sigh* guess i'm done until ornamentalism comes out.

i must agree.. naturally eccentric was a little boring for me too... i only got 3 things.. 2 lg's and the inventive eyes palette.. i'm holding off until ornamentalism cos i just KNOW i'm gong to have a filed day with that collection!

I got both the quads just cause Im a macwhore...but I have to say I got the l/s and they are all gross to me. Either too dark or to light...nothing pretty like before. bleh

Im glad for new paints though, they seem to be really pretty
The lustrewears are awesome too, I HATED the previous pro longwears...they balled up and gunked up and just ew...the new ones dont at all, and they really stay put. I like that

Im waiting on the new vps, and ornamentalism too

I totally agree with you about Free to Be.. it was BORING. Yet I loved there lipsticks ( minus so original, and Nat. Eccentric ) The VP's and the other collection that is coming up... OY it look FAB!

I put off actually seeing the collection because I just knew I'd fall head over heels for Inventive Eyes. But I had to breakdown and go to the counter to pick up Goldbit, so looked over NE. Meh. Actually, I was relieved (and shocked) to not be knocked off my feet over it. I tried the colors in the Inventive palette and just shrugged. They work beautifully together, and I see how some others would love this collection, but I think it just isn't glam enough for me. The lipsticks are just to light or dark (just like someone else said!).

The Lustrevision collection isn't doing it for me either. I'm needing to see the new Veluxe Pearls and glitter liners. I recently got Copperfield at a CCO and had to get Oxidate off E-bay, now I need more non-bright glitters and I understand that they are suppose to release more this Fall.
