steamy
I have had this for a long time, this was my first blue-ish shadow from MAC. it started to look a bit...metal-like, I'm not sure how to say it, but it probably got a bit greasy and it didn't give a lot of pigment anymore.

soooo I chopped it up, added alcohol 96%, sit and put it back in the pan. right now it's drying, but it allready looks 10x better than in did.
I'll keep you updated!!

Carbon did that to me too. As if there was a hard coating on the top so you cant pick up the pigment :/

yes that's what I mean!! my MAC mua told me that happens because of oil in the shadow, from fingers or from brushes that haven't been cleaned in a while.

That happens to alot of my shadows too, and I clean my brushes after every use! I usually just scrape the gunk (ewe, but for lack of a better word ) off gently with a bobby pin or something...

try cdv first, so you can practice(cuz sweeten up is RARE). it very easy, and with a little practice the shadow looks allmost as good as new
