Question Stupid questions right here about pigment sizes! Help!
Hey they may sound like a really stupid question, but what is bigger? 1/4 of a pigment sample or 3/8? What about between 1/2 and 3/8? I can visualize 1/4 and 1/2 but not the 3/8 & i'm too lazy to whip out my spoon set hehehe. Oh yeah and this is all in tespoons. Also, those little MAC pigment sample containers they give out at MAC, are they 5 gram jars?

ooohhh one more......ya know those holiday pigment vials? Does anybody know how many teaspoons you can get out of those? Or even out of a full jar of pigment? Okay i'll stop now thanks a bunch!!!!

3/8 is almost a 4/8 (= 1/2) therefore 3/8 > 1/4.

Yes, afaik the containers are 5g containers.
I have no idea on the vials since I don't own any.

the vials are 2.5gm and from recollection you get about 1 and 3/4 teaspoons of pigment. the full sized jars are 7.5gm ang you get 3+ teaspoons of pigment in them

It also matters on the pigment. I have gotten 2 teaspoons out of a vial and then another I got 4... it was weird, but it's the density, it has to be.

It really depends on a lot of things, the density of the pigment, the way you measure it etc etc. I always use a standard metric measuring spoon. Some people pack the pigment into the spoon, others dont so it will also depend on how its measured I guess.
