Too much M.A.C?

Hi,

I go to my mac counter at least once a week - like every friday or saturday and buy at least up to four products. Do make-up artists find this weird? Do you think managers get mad at regulars for coming and think "Save makeup for others!" I have a really bad mac obsession!

Nah!! They probably love you! I think that MAs really like having regular customers to balance out the crazy mean ones they get. Besides, they aren't going to run out of makeup!!

lol No they will love you! My MA's just smile when I come up to the counter and they show me new collections before they are even out! I used to go there once a week myself but since I have a lot of makeup and MAC now, I only go when I want to see a new collection. I haven't gone since Heatherette. But I will be there next week for NN and I will probably look into the other collections. Also, if the MA's know you are a regular, and they know that you know you're stuff pretty well. They won't try to jip you! :P lol

I don't think they'd think that was too much. Regulars are good because they know your habits somewhat and know you're going to spend.

If an m/a gets mad at someone for being a "regular," (considering you're a good customer) I'd say they are in the wrong job!

You know, I always thought the artists at my local counter would be like "Good, gosh. Why are you here every week?" But hopefully they aren't! They usually are very nice. They know me by name!

MAC is my super vice, just like many here of course. Glad I found this place!

Some of the MAs at my local MAC will wave at me as I walk by in the mall if I for some reason don't walk in. They laugh at me for being there so much, but it's all in good fun. I know I've been told my presence is welcome, as it's nice to see a familiar, friendly face.

I am pretty much in the same boat as your are. I use to work 5 minutes from the Mall that had a free standing store and I would always go there on my lunch. I went there so often the MAs starting asking for my PRO card when I was checking out and I would have to remind them than I am just an addict, not a MA!!! It's funny! But I love my MAs at my MAC store and I love that they know me. It's makes playing with the makeup even more fun. And they always remember to put me on the list for events!!!

The counter I goto the MA loves me. I must go there 1x a month & stock up. Every time they get a new collection in, she calls me. I do love her.
If you're a regular they get to know what you like. I don't think they will think anything negative about you @ all. I think it would be the opposite. I think they would be so happy to see you.

OMG! i'm the same way. i used to literally go deposit my paycheck every 2 weeks at MAC. Everytime i would have money, i would first think of what i need or want from MAC before anything else. I went in so much that th MA's encouraged me to apply for a MA position, and i got it! most of us MAC Ma's are MAC addicts and then become employees! i've been employed with MAC for over a year and i'm still the first one to go to the MAC store and pick up all the new collections! so don't feel bad. i love when my regulars come back to me! i'm an employee and also a MAC addict!

Wow!

I thought I was alone in Shopping at mac one to two times a week. It's really addictive! I always thought some were like "Oh, her again." But, one MA did tell me that there are quite a few people who go there regularly. I went last night and I am thinking about going to get more stuff today...

UUmm..Do you think that the workers at the wharehouse know you by name when you constantly buy online. Like when they have your paper in their hands ready to pull your order their like, "Hey, her again" LOL

if the MA doesnt like it, then they arent a good MA! MAC sells makeup and they should be happy and grateful to customers who keep coming back. it shows that the quality of the makeup is great that people keep coming back to buy more. it also sets a great example for new customers if they hear an MA mention that a particular customer visits the store weekly. what happens is sometimes you end up knowing more than the MA! LOL My MAs still are impressed when i know the brush numbers more than they do. lol
