Is it safe to use? I was recently at a forum where some people were saying that you shouldn't use makeup made in China. So I checked my makeup, and realized that I had some makeup that was made in China. Like my Wet 'n' Wild eyeshadows..

I think you hit the head on the nail. I don't blame people for being cautious for what they put on their face, but there seems to be a lot of fear mongering when it comes to foreign imports of certain origin...

It really is up to the consumer to be mindful of what they are buying. Keep doing research.

Thanks so much for mentioning this. I feel this way too. China gets a whole lot of bad publicity when it comes to their products. True, some of the news stories I read on products can turn out to be pretty horrendous, but considering the sheer volume of manufacturing that China does, the number of bad cases are going to increase as well. I feel like there has been an unfair attitude towards Chinese-made products. The truth is, if products weren't made in China, you'd probably have to pay a much heftier price.

I also agree with what JasminBarley said - the most important and effective way to go about it is to do a little research.
