Palette travel dilemma...
I'm going to NYC for a week tomorrow, and I want to take a few colours from my palette with me--but not the whole thing. I can't just leave the pans in my makeup bag, they're likely to break or get everything else messy. I've long since B2M'd their pots...any ideas?
I was thinking maybe individual saran wrap?....help!

I know this is useless for you right now, but invest in a quad. I have one that I use for travel and I just pop the shadows I want out and put them in the quad. I wouldn't use saran wrap because it is static clingy and pulls the shadow off. Maybe try something more heavy duty like a ziploc bag?

Thanks! I'll try the bags, and get some quads--maybe even while I'm there!

Also maybe get some bubble wrap and staple or tape the sides to make little holders for each color you want to take. Then use the extra bubble wrap to pack around them in your makeup bag or traincase.
I have shipped many of depotted e/s with the little bubble wrap "holders" and if it can go through USPS mail if for sure and handle you traveling.

Also don't forget about Covergirl's empty quads.
