pressing powders

I want to press my loose mineral foundation into a pressed powder in my bare minerals compact. Can someone tell me how I should go about doing that?

In my experience, since minerals have no fillers or any of that stuff, they're hard to press. I tried pressing mineral eyeshadow and after they dried they just ended up crumbling.
