General Comments on this product:
I don't really like bronzer, but it looked like a quick little contour kit basically. Really pricey in my opinion, though it does last a while -- nothing really to write home about, it's still pretty freakin' pricey.

Anyway, the website and all the Benefit MAs say not to blend it (what the heck?) which I thought was kind of peculiar. Got it at Sephora though while talking to an MA who agreed that it should be blended lol

Sparkly... very. Doesn't have good staying power. You gotta pile on quite a bit of it to get some noticeable color, and of course the brush is worthless when you're trying to blend. The bronzer seems to crumble up more than the highlighter, and because theres no separator between the colors they kind of mix, which is alrite if that's what you're going for.

Wasn't impressed, should have gotten sculpt-n-shape instead.

General Comments on this product:
First of all let me just say that my price rating refers to the continental European price, which is ridiculous, and the packaging quality refers to the fact that I am still not quite sure why Benefit’s marketing managers do not seem to think about us working and traveling gals.

I have never been fond of bronzer, either, and I have always been very wary of Benefit’s funny effect powders, whose usefulness never became quite clear to me.
So, when one of our very daring young Russian MUA told me she wanted to try this stuff on me, I was a bit scared – but then she did, and I was amazed.
I did not find it sparkly at all, just very glowy, and I have to say I am very picky when it comes to judging products as too sparkly. It stayed on for an entire open air show in the midsummer midday heat, no problems there.
The brush and the non-blending technique work just perfectly for sculpting – the only problem – and this is where I actually agree with the first review – is that you’ll usually use one of the products separately as well, which makes stockkeeping a bit difficult.
I am usally very fair, with yellow-olive undertones, and I had just started to tan. The bronzer brought out my tan just perfectly, no dark "stains" there, and the highlighter was just subtle enough (and I usually despise highlighters... ) for even my kids to adore the make-up after the show. So it must have been the right combo for all audiences there.

All in all: the only sculpting product I have ever wanted to buy after a show / shoot.

(I just bought a seemingly similar SEPHORA combo here in France to see whether it's the magic of 10 )
