Benefit Show Offs: Meringue & Pistachio
Overall Rating: 3

Price: 3 (poor value for money when a tiny pot of this is only slightly cheaper than a huge pot of pigment)

Packaging Quality: 4 (I loved the gem cut style pot but the lid didn't seem to screw tight enough and I got minor spillages in my bag)

Would you buy this product again? Probably not

Meringue
This was a white colour with blue undertones which looked purple when brushes over black eyeliner

Pistachio
This was a yellow colour with gold & green undertones which looked green when brushed over black eyeliner.

I only really liked how it changed colour over the black eyeliner. The colour pay off was poor. With pigment I can get away without a base, they are that vibrant, even over a base these looked washed out. If you attempted to layer the colour, it looked cakey and horrible. These were hugely disappointing in hindsight, but when I first brought them I thought they were great because this was before I found MAC pigments.

Price: 3. Quite alot of wastage due to the loose powder form.

Packaging Quality: 3 hate the lid. it comes off easily. it's cute but not exactly practical

Would you buy this product again? maybe. I like it cuz it looks great on me. especially pistachio. with the black liner it turns green so that's really cool. also, it's easy to blend so that you can have a toned down color for day time and a thicker layer for night. However, you have to dust off alot of the excess or it gets brushed off.... so there's alot of wastage.

general show off review
Overall Rating: 2

i got the holiday set a few years ago as my birthday present. it came in 3 colours. i was excited to use it because i love benefit. i own all of their items minus the shadows. but i realized it goes on very sheer. not vibrant at all! the only colour i use is the bronzy one after a goldy brown shadow as base.
i'd rather pay the difference and go for mac pigments
