Clinique: Superbalm- Mango Tint (lipgloss)
Overall Rating: 5

Would you buy this product again? Yes

This balm is so comfortable! It gives a pretty, dewy shine to your lips as opposed to an ultra-glossy, sticky shine. The fact that it was tinted didn't really make a huge difference, as it looks clear for the most part. This stuff would be great under or over lipstick, or mixed with gloss to take away some of the stickiness and sheer it out a bit.

The best part: Apply a thin layer and keep it on while you do the rest of your makeup in the morning. Then by the time you get to your lips it will have mostly been absorbed and your lips are super soft and ready for lipstick.... and I do mean super soft!

I thought that the full-size tube would have been bigger, like the Lancome Juicy Tubes, but a little is all you need anyway.

Would you buy this product again? Yes, but probably won't have to.

I like the superbalms for one reason-they're excellent as a lip treatment/slightly (very slightly) tinted gloss on those days I'm too lazy to do more than throw something on my dry lips. I find them too goopy to use on a full face day. The mango tint does give a tiny hint of color to my face, but it's really just a suggestion of color or warmth. As a rule, I don't particularly care for tube glosses or treatments (superbalm, juicy tubes, etc) but because this is such an effective product I deal with it. Love to use this at night before bed.

I bought this a few years back when I was more into Clinique than MAC and I thought it was actually quite nice and moisturising but very sheer.
Now that I've tried TLC's I don't like Superbalm anymore as it's not as moisturising IMO and MAC shades are more pigmented.

I put this or one of the other colors on every morning before my lipstick, it's super mosturising, and even without a lipstick, looks great!

I use the raspberry tint, but they're pretty much the same. I love it, really makes my lips soft, and the slight colour is nice as I'm not a lip colour fan. It's quite small, but lipglosses don't last long anyway, so it's probably good that it's small as you use it all before it goes bad.

*~*I'm bumping this because they have new ones out now. They are bigger (same size as MAC lipgelee), and they are suuuper smooth!!! I love these (Mango & Grapefruit are my HG glosses)...everyone should try these!!! They are sheer, & they give your lips a nice flush of color. I thought that since they are twice as big as the old ones that they would cost more, but they are only $2 higher. I haven't used a lipgelee since!!!!*~*
