Lip Fusion XL is more of a treatment product than a gloss. It has twice the collagen than the regular lip Fusion contains in microspheres that penetrate the skin and then swell with water. This product also contains hyaluronic acid and emolliants as well. (hyaluronic acid is Restylane)

I did try this product. It took me a long time to rationalize $50. for a tube of "balm". However the results are cumulative to a certain point, and as long as you keep using it, the lips stay plumped. (5 hours to 2 days)I applied this 4 times a night and a month later I had big fat, pillowy lips that were smooth. (I have seen people with lumpy injected lips before and decided "not me, ever") This is not a super temporary plumper like Lip Venom, it works by adding fillers through the skin. While injections last an average of 2 months, this lasts all day. It can be boosted throughout the day with coloured lip plumping gloss as well. It is a very emolliant product, thick, a little bit on the greasy side, smells like spearmint.

This product does do what it says. The price is a bit crazy, but the results are worth it. It also received the Good Houskeeping Seal of Approval . I'm a little sorry I waited a year to try this product.
