Too Faced: Shadow Insurance (eye shadow primer)
Overall Rating: 5
Price [Value]: 5
Packaging Quality: 5
Would you buy this product again? Absolutely yes.

General Comments on this product:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance is an eye shadow primer not unlike UD's Primer Potion. It comes in a squeezy tube. A very small amount is all that is required to prime each eyelid, so you get quite a bit of bang for your buck.

This primer is easily the best eye makeup primer I have ever tried. Several times now I have used it underneath elaborate eye shadow jobs and each time my eyeshadow still looks perfect when i get home after whatever it is i've been to - no creasing, no fading.

i'd definitely purchase this product again.

Would you buy this product again? Yes! Totally!

General Comments on this product:
This is my second time talking about this product on this board - but I love it that much! It does everything it promises, makes your shadows more vibrant, stays put all day. It even lasted on my oily skin - even through sleeping! I would definitely buy again. It'll probably be while too since you only need a little bit to get the kick out of this product!

General Comments on this product: It creases on me. Although I liked that it was moisturizing and glided on nicely, it just didn't work for me! After a couple of hours my eyeshadow went all wonky. I immediately ran back to UDPP after this.

It works well for me. No crease and the colors stay on even when I wear mineral eye shadows.

general comments- it REALLY WORKS. It's much better than art deco's primer, wich made it hard to blend my eyeshadows.
You just need a tiny amount for each lid. It's worth the price and the packaging's really cute!

Would you buy this product again? Definitly.

I've never used a primer before, and always had issues with creasing as I have oily lids and almond shaped eyes.
UDPP is too hard to get here, so when I saw TFSI was available here, I drove all the way into the city to buy some. I'm so happy with the outcome. Today is only the second time I've used it, but it's holding a pale gold shimmer eye dust from Napoleon incredibly well. I'm having a few issues with blending, but I think that has more to do with the fact that I'm just getting used to it, and I applied the dust wet with my mixing medium to make it a bit brighter.

I have oily lids and sometimes I do get creasing with this, it really depends on how I prep my lids before hand. I have to really rub in my eye cream and make sure that it settles. Then I have to put a tiny amount of TooFaced Primer on my lid, spread it and let it start to dry. Then smooth it and make sure that I don't rub it all the way in. I need to leave it on my lids so that the pigment is viewable. Rubbing it all the way in and not letting it dry a little will guarantee my right lid (the oiliest one) creasing in less than 15 minutes.

So, i recieved this product as a gratis from Sephora Color Encore program. I have always been a UDPP kinda gal, but the packaging on this product allows for you to get all your product out, unlike the fun bottle UDPP is packaged in. Also, i find this product more lightweight, and glides along the eye easier. No budging, no creasing.
