Unhappy I am worried... *self esteem drops*
I am 27 yrs old and I have wrinkles all over my neck and tonight I noticed them spreading downward towards my chest! Is this common amongst women our age or is this genetic? My mom doesn't have any on her face but she has some on her neck like everyone else. Just not as bad as me. And she is 54! Its really starting to bother me and I hate looking at it. I don't even feel like wearing anything that will show my neck and chest area. How sad huh? But the lines on my chest really bother me. They are deep. Now do any of you have this or had this and what do you use to minimize the look of wrinkles in that area? Is there a product out there that can completely diminish these lines? Please help a girl out. *sigh*

Nope I don't tan at all. Thats my natural skin color. I guess I am gonna have to keep applying moisturizer or body butter til the day I die.

I can hardly see anything either! Don't worry! But they do have those anti-wrinkle treatments for the face that you could maybe use on your neck (I would start off with drugstore ones like Neutrogena or something). Also don't forget to wear sunscreen on that area everyday to prevent wrinkles from sun damage. HTH

Re: I am worried... *self esteem drops*
I know the pic isn't helping much because of the flash. But its there. My mirror doesn't lie.

I use Neutrogena on my face everyday and night. Its the one for blemishes and wrinkles. I guess I should start using that on my neck and chest too. As well as sunscreen since I am always in the sun. Maybe thats why I have those lines. hmmmm

Re: I am worried... *self esteem drops*
I don't see anything wrong with you ..Your gorgeous..but if you ahve concerns I would suggest ...using anit aging moistureizers on your neck and decollatage just as much as you mositureize yoru face. Also suncreen too ...to prevent aging spots and burning just as much as the skin on your face. Its true that when you get older maybe in your 50's or so wrinkles in those areas will be more prominent that you now in your 20's ...but its just life. And you will be just as beautiful in 30 years ..as much as you are now ..just diffrent hehe

My mom has the most beautiful skin on her face ..few wrinkles ..minmal damage and she is 55 ..but her neck on the other hand is a diffrent story cuz she never really moisturised that area so you can definetly see a diffrence in her neck decollatage compared to her face.

SO yeah just take care of those areas jsut as much as you do yoru face ..and you should be alright later in life.

BUt honestly I don't see what you see ...I think your neck area looks normal hehe ..but good luck hun ..and hugs cuz your beautiful =)

Re: I am worried... *self esteem drops*
you answered your own question when you said you are out in the sun a lot and if you haven't been using a sunscreen or SUNBLOCK, that's what's happening....I have a facial salon and see it everyday on young and old...women just fail to use the sun protectant and esp. in that area....treat it like you treat your face and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize..!!!! some of the older ladies come in with perfectly botoxed faces, but the neck and decolette don't match! i wish you luck cause you are truly beautiful...i can't even see anything in your pic...maybe its what you were wearing earlier and it made the line?

Re: I am worried... *self esteem drops*
There are a lot of brands out there that sell moisturizers specifically for the neck and chest area. I don't see anything in your pictures which means that it's not as bad or as obvious as you think it is...sometimes we are the worst judges of ourselves really. But of course prevention is the best thing to do so start applying moisturizer and avoid the sun as much as you can!

Omg thats it! Thanks so much! I have been sleeping on my side from some time and I never had this river line before. I thought it would being in the sun but I would have tanned so it can't be that. I just woke up and its there and it looks so bad. Ugh

What do you do to get rid of it?

Re: I am worried... *self esteem drops*
theres nothing there lol!! even if you say there is, im sure its nothing.
but if you are worrying, then clarins do a moisturiser for the chest area which is meant to be good (i think it has spf in it too, not sure), the best thing to do is to moisturise as young as possible and you will see a difference! my mother is almost 50 and has like 2 wrinkles on her face (from moisturizing religiously!), but has more on her chest coz she uses the sunbed.
