Re: My Graphic Arts Portfolio
Just a hint, your portfolio takes wayyy to long to load...people won't wait that long to see it. It needs to be there BAM when you open that page.

I would suggest you skip that loading thingee all together and just opt for a simple design that loads quickly.

Re: My Graphic Arts Portfolio
^ I concur, it takes quite a while to load and creeps up x%...FINALLY!

Nice work! Just another perhaps nav tip, and maybe this can be tweaked. When you click on say "About" at the bottom, the info pops up. But then to get back to see your art full page you have to click on home and then the pics, otherwise you have the popup in the way. Does that make sense??

Anywhoo just a tip, and I madly envy your skills, seriously I have none (am trying to learn but am in no way an artist) and am prob. going to be an accountant. nuff said!

Re: My Graphic Arts Portfolio
I would suggest just a simple HTML page or a downloadable PDF for people who want to see your port.

As far as the work, I'm no expert on vector art, but I've been doing photomanipulation for awhile, so I'll make a comment on that:

It's ok, but I'm not sure if it's a right piece for your portfolio. Your portfolio seems to be really Illustrator heavy, I'd suggest either focusing on that or including more diversity.

Re: My Graphic Arts Portfolio
Hey ya'll, thanks for the help.
For those of you who it's taking a long time to load, i'm trying to fix that.
This isn't a portfolio for school or anything just really for people that I know to see my work so I'm too worried about it being entirely professional right now.

I'm not sure what you mean by that GiggleGirl, can you explain further?
maybe if i reread that and look at the site i will understand.

j_absinthe, my portfolio is really just for my vector art so that's all that i'm including, i have a seperate portfolio for other stuff.

Thanks you guys!
