Any Sushi Lovers Here?
So... I've just gotten really into sushi and I was wondering what you ladies like and don't like!
So far, my faves are the spicy tuna rolls, spider rolls, and yellowtail tuna nigri. Haven't tried sashimi yet.
My least fave has been uni (sea urchin)... and it was really gross. Like really gross.
Anyone like unagi? I'm thinking about trying that next

Yes! For my money, Todai ( www.todai.com) is the best place to try out different kinds of sushi, since it's all you can eat and not too pricey.
Unagi is reaaaaaaaaaally good. My favorite is smoked salmon sashimi.

I like unagi - it's sort of an acquired taste, more flavoursome than the raw fish ones.
I love tuna. Probably octopus was my least favourite, had it as sashimi and it was more of a texture issue - just a bit too chewy for me. Probably not fresh - it is nice when it's fresh, like all seafood really.
I'm taking a friend of mine out to a sushi train restaurant sometime soon. I think I'm looking forward to it more than he is! It's new, so very eager to check it out.

Fish makes me sick (also, I hate it anyway), and I'm allergic to seaweed. So, anything I get has to be rolled in soy paper. I really only go for inari (bean curd), ebi (shrimp), tamago (egg), or avocado. Although I did try Spicy Tuna Roll once, and it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again, but I didn't mind eating a piece of it.
So, I only like a few kinds of sushi. If I'm going to eat Japanese food, I prefer chicken katsu or yakiniku. I also prefer ramen, but real ramen, not the instant stuff. The instant stuff tastes like band-aids.

I like Tuna Rolls, Spicy tuna rolls, Tuna Sashimi, and California Rolls the best.
You should always order Soy beans (Edamame) too, those are soooo good and healthy too. Green Tea is good to drink with your sushi too, especially the raw stuff.. It can kill certain bacteria that could make you sick..but obviously you should be careful when you eat raw fish!
Green tea and Ginger Ice Creams are also high on my list. I love Japanese Food!

OMG Unagi is my favorite thing EVERRRR....also love the Inari (and a good choice if fish makes a person squeamish)....well, I eat pretty much anything but fake "Krab" (also Crab Delight/Delite). I also don't do rice, so it gets kinda pricey because it takes more to fill me up but I don't carrre sushi is my #1 thing and has been since I was like seven....
Second the edamame, and I can't go to my sushi place without ordering a ginger salad (usually the house dressing at Japanese/sushi places).

My favorite is the Ebi Nigiri(I beleive that's the shrimp). I like Spicy Tuna Roll, California Roll. I grew up with sushi, my Grandmother used to make it for us all the time. I make sushi sometimes at home. I'm not a big Sashimi fan, I'll eat Salmon. But, I looove sushi.
