Ewwww....I feel gross...
So, I've got this male patient that I see. He's almost 91 years old. He's always telling me I have great...ahem...knockers...Headlights, he calls them. "Does your hubby ever tell ya you've got a great pair of headlights..? 'Cause if he doesn't, I just wanted to let ya know."...He tells me, with a huge grin on his face. Now, that I don't mind so much. I figure, hell...he's 90 years old...He's earned the right to tell a chick she's got nice cha cha's.
Well...I go in the the other day...I'm doing his vitals and sorting his medication. So he looks at me with this huge, crooked grin on his face..."I had a nice dream last night." He tells me. "That's nice." I say...Figuring the dream was about his wife (she's in a convalescent home after breaking her hip...he told me he made up a prayer about her the previous night, so I thought the dream would be about her).
"Yeah" he continues..."It was a really nice dream. A wet dream about you." I stare in shock. Mouth hanging open. "It was nice. You were really tight." STILL GRINNING! He's saying this to me like he's telling me it's going to rain tomorrow! Then, he says "Ya know those tissues you threw out?"...I gulp. I know what he's going to say (there were a bunch of dirty tissues in his walker cart that I threw out when I got there)..."Those were from the wet dream." He's all nonchalant about it. So I point my finger and say "Bucky, that's innapropriate...that's WAY TOO PERSONAL, and I don't want to hear about it!" I don't think he got it..'cause he says "Well, I can't help it. I can't help what I dream about..it's only natural." AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!
So I just continued on with my work and didn't say anything more...I didn't want to draw extra attention to it. I must say, though..this realllly bothered me. I've taken the "headlights" comments pretty well so far; but this?! Gah....I'm SOO grossed out! I don't know if I did the right thing or not. I only hope this never comes up again...'cause I don't know what to do if it does...
Thanx for letting me get this off my....umm....chest.

hun, that is awfulllll, you're a better person than I am though, I'd have slapped him, old or not that was really uncalled for. People know about boundaries and know how to cross them, he should have known to respect yours, he had no business telling you things that he knew would make you uncomfortable and should have apologized. Try to get someone else to take care of him?

 That is horrible.
I would tell your boss that you're having personal issues with him and would no longer like to work with that man.

Old age does not excuse repulsive behavior. I would've cussed the old ass out for the breast ocmments alone, but you probably handled it better.
Tell your boss you cannot work with this man any longer. The next thing you know this guy will start groping you and think you'll bed him. Don't let it get to that point.

I'm really sorry to hear about your bad experience. If it happens again you should definitely report his behaviour to your supervisor (or perhaps to his wife!)
It seems that age is no obstacle to such behaviour. Read this story from the BBC today about a 95 year old arrested for picking up a prostitute

Seriously, you need to file that with your boss, and have it noted either in his records or somewhere else.
If this behaviour is out of the norm for him, (I hope it is, and he's not just a pervy lech) it maybe a symptom of something else.
That said, yeah, that's pretty grosssss.

That is awful! I would definitely be talking to my boss about his comments and asking to switch with someone else when it comes to his care!! Good luck!

That old pervert!
Some of those old people are out of control. I've heard some funny and outrageous stories about some old and disabled people from people in the medical field.
I agree withthe others, I would ask for a re-assignment.
