Filenes Cosmetic Counters

the filenes in my area is hiring for seasonal help including the make-up counters. which brand do you think is the best to work for?

Estee Lauder
Clinique
Shiseido
Lancome
Clarins
Chanel
Origins

Those are all the ones I know of. Has anyone worked for any of these?

Well, one of my friends used to work for Chanel but has recently switched to Clarins b/c the pay and comission were better. Does that help any?? Of course you can always go off of who gets the most business

Just from going in the store I believe Clinique gets the most business and the Estee Lauder girls are real bitches.

Definitely not EL then! I'd go either Clinique or Lancome just because of the products.

Yeah and Clinique is the only one I actually shop at really. I know the Filenes is changing over to Macys soon. I wonder when that happens and if we will get different counters.

Never work anywhere that the people seem to have a stick up their a**
If you really do enjoy Clinique, maybe you should look into it. Could you go to another counter if it doesn't fit you??

I don't know. I'm gonna go tomorrow and see. I was at the Clinique counter the other day and the ladies were real nice and they were all asking about my make-up.
