Tutorial Terminology?

Can someone explain the terminology used in the tutorials
like what does it mean when they say pack on "Pack On" or
Swipe, Wash etc

im not good at this lol but i think "Pack On" means put on a lot of e/s especially if its a light colour,
"Wipe" i think it means that you need to wipe any excess from the makeup away like dustings from e/s and pigments

Im not really sure but i think thats what those two are, HTH!!

pack on - to heavily apply color onto the lid, usually looks really pigmented
wash (as in "a wash of color") - lightly applied, looks soft, usually something neutral on lid
swipe - could be like swipe on mascara (apply?

Yes I mean wash as in a wash of color, I guess swipe would be like quick or something.
I wanted to know becuase I think I use too much when Im applying my eyeshadow.
