Just a thought, but what about adding a subforum devoted to video tutorials. I love going to the video tutorials, but more recently there seems to be an increased amount of video tutorials popping up, making it a bit harder for me to find good text based ones (no offense to those of you who do vids, it's actually really appreciated, but sometimes I prefer to just read and look at pics.)

This subforum however shouldn't affect posting video tutorials in the contest entry section, just for the general tutorials forum.

As a general rule of thumb in the tutorials forum we mark videos and linked tutorials in the title of the the thread with [video], etc. Does this format not make it easier to sort through the threads for what you want to view?

Not necessarily, but there have been days where I come on and the entire front page is nothing but video tuts, save a couple text ones here and there. Perhaps it's just me; perhaps I'm just easily overwhelmed lol.

Currently, no off-site tutorials are allowed in the Tutorial Contest Entries, including video tutorials. Just wanted to clarify that for the original poster.
