I dunno if I thought it REALLY hurt a lot, but I do know that it stung. Severely. It certainly hurt, at least to a point, it also felt as though he had a bit of a hard time getting the needle through and got the needle through in a short series of pushes of the needle (I think three of them). And there is that nerve in the nose that causes your eyes to water. That really sucked. The gentleman who did my piercing had me close my eyes through the whole thing and when I opened them I found that I had mascara coming down my face a little because I had teared up.
