Can anyone suggest any safe mascaras and eyeliners??

And my eyeball gets all dark when i put on some eyeliner etc..any suggestions?

It doesn't bother me much. I wear my contacts about 40% of the time and my glasses 60% of the time. I do my makeup first and then put my contacts in. After I put them in, I take a q tip and clean around my waterline and such so there is no gunky buildup from makeup.

Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners! They are beautiful & very long lasting and do not smear at all. I do wear contacts and it does not bother them

I've had to remove a lens once after makeup was on, it definitely runs more of a risk of getting things in your eye.

I put the contacts on, then makeup.

I've worn contacts since I was 12 (I'm 20 now) and I use them every day because I hate wearing glasses. I put my contacts in first and then do my makeup, since my eyes run after I put my contacts in because of the excess lens sollution. I use plush lash mascara, fluidline and technakohl pencil from MAC and it's very rare that I poke my eyes with the liner so that the lens gets all black, if it happens I just take it out, clean it and pop it back in. I used to get black goo in the inner corner of my eye when I was using cheap H&M eye liner and IsaDora liquid liner, but after I switched to MAC it stopped. Technakohl is water resistant and smudgeproof, so it stays put all day and doesn't get into your eyes.

I apply all eye makeup after my lenses are in & any watering settles. The BB liners dry pretty fast so I've never had a problem.

Smashbox makes this super great fast drying liner for the waterline....it's called jet set. You can also purchase it at QVC with this awesome bent liner brush which I recommend.

I too wear contacts, and definately contacts before makeup! I always end up with mascara all over my lense before even getting it in my eye. I really enjoy the UD 24/7 pencils. They stay forever and don't smudge a bit. same for the UD liquid liners as well.

Speaking of eyeliners, I just bought Bobbi Brown's Graphite Shimmer gel liner...it is so beautiful! I wanted a softer black look and this is just perfect.
