Eyeshadows in Waterline
I've started to really like using matte shadows like Carbon and Shadowy Lady on my waterline... is this safe?

If so, is it safe with other shadow textures (Lustre, VP, Matte2, etc.)?

Re: Eyeshadows in Waterline
I think it is. I would say it's even more safe than something like a f/l because it's more of a powder, there's more room for that area to breathe and there seems to be less a chance of your tear ducts or anything getting affected. With that said, I say that for non-glittery eyeshadows.

Re: Eyeshadows in Waterline
im pretty sure its safe. when i got my makeup done, my MA first put fascinating e/k on, and then put orange e/s on over top of it for better staying power. i cant see why an EYEshadow wouldnt be safe for your eyes.

Seriously...I mean if its around it anyways chances are some of it will get in the eye..

and I second the don't put glitter there...unless you want scratched corneas

Re: Eyeshadows in Waterline
mac's shadows aren't approved for the waterline, but all of us at the counter do it. basically, do it at your risk.

we only use matte or veluxe shadows for the waterline. no lustres, satins, etc.
