Fairylite question, and Cleansing Oil question
My mom just got me Fairylite from a CCO, the little paper insert said it wasn't lip safe but it didn't say anything about it not being eye safe. I checked the precaution list and it said it wasn't safe for either eyes or lips prior to 2005. I read how if the last digit of the batch # was a 5, then I would be ok, but the bath # is A84. Can anyone tell me if I can use this on my eyes?? Cuz that's the only thing I'd want it for. She also got me the Cleanse Off Oil, but the bottle is completly different then the one I remember seeing on the internet. The 5oz bottle she got me is white and is called "Super Cleansing Oil" is this the same stuff? Is it ok to use? There wasn't a pump that came with it either, just a child safety screw on cap.

Also does anyone know if I'm able to exchange something from one CCO for something else at another CCO in a different state??

Thanks!!

Can't help you with Fairylite, sorry!

I've heard of Super Cleansing Oil, but I don't know much about it though. It might be pro or discontinued; I couldn't find it at any of the MAC websites (Official, Pro, Nordstroms, Macys). I've seen different packaging for lots of things, and although it's uncommon, it's nothing to worry about. The SCO is known to have horrible packaging.

Here are some reviews for it (MUA, I don't have it, sorry): http://www.makeupalley.com/product/s...sp/ItemID=5847

I believe there is a sign at my CCO that says all sales are final, no refunds, no exchanges, but you might call to double check. They have the sign right at the cash register.

Fairylite was released, and then after the release the info came out about it not being eye-safe, which is why they do not reflect the true precaitions on the insert.

Fairylite prior to 2005 is NOT eye-safe.

The CCO I went to last week would do exchanges WITH a receipt. I actually did exchange a 10.50 MAC prep and prime and went on to spend $50.00 on my perfume clinique aromatics elixir. LOL. BTW the prep and prime for the eye creased like crazy and that is why I returned it. They were very nice about the exchange and were glad to know my opinion of the product. This was the store in Carlsbad, CA.
