Glitter liners re-released...conflicting info on eye safety
I can only assume these should be eye safe as they are eye liners. However, someone on MUA said they scratched their cornea when removing these.
So, are they really eye safe?
Also, tips for removing glitter liners?
And finally, are there any differences in safety for those who wear contacts?

i just bought one of them, and used it the other day! i dont know about safety, but to remove it does take a little work....

i used an oil based eye makeup remover and soaked a cotton pad and held it to my closed eye for a bit, and then carefully wiped up and out to wipe it off....

of course, i had only put some on my upper lid, i didnt line my bottom....

i would HOPE they use eyesafe glitter in this product....

Glitter liners are eye-safe due to the binder they use to hold the glitter in place. When removing the liner, you have to take care not to cause the glitter to enter the eye, as it can cause the same damage as loose glitter at that point.

glitter liners should be eyesafe as long as you don't get the glitter in your eye. liners such as these are usually meant to line the top of lash line and maybe the lower lash line, but NEVER the waterline.

They are fine as long as they don't get in your eye. I was careless the other day and teared terribly. Other than that, I didn't really have any problems. But do take care.

i just use it on my upper lid by the lash line, im too nervous about lining my lower lid. i wear contacts and dont need to ruin my contacts with the chance of the glitter scratching it

glitter is not eyesafe and definitely should not come in contact with the waterline / your eyeballs. lining outside the eyes (lashlines) are okay, though. just don't get any of the glitter in your eye!

I recently bought my first glitter liner and put it on my water line and OUCH! I was about to write it off as a mistake purchase but I'll give it another try and put it only on my upper lashline - thanks!

my sister had saucepot waiting for me last time i went to visit her [talk about an awesome surprise, i'd been dying to get saucepot but had no money ha] and i've used it a few times, loooove it!!

but as has been said, glitter should never come in contact with the waterline. it's actually not a very grand idea to use liquid liners on your waterline at all, i've been told. and i can see why haha i tried it once, NEVERRR again will i do that.

i usually just chip it off and then wash my face like normal and that seems to get rid of it pretty well. i have oily skin though, so it's easier to take it off :\
