If it's lip safe it's eye safe?
I have read that if a product is lip safe it is automatically eye safe, but not the other way around. It was in a magazine, I can't remember which one. Is this true? I didn't think it was, but I am not sure.

Re: If it's lip safe it's eye safe?
Nope. You just have to read the safety precautions/details for a product. It just depends on the product(s).

Re: If it's lip safe it's eye safe?
No. Most products for the lips are too greasy for the eye area. Tne mouth and the eye have different pH values, and the mouth is used to ingesting food, bacteria, etc and the eye needs to be carefully protected from bacteria. Even a little grease on a contact lens is enough to potentiate an infection.

Re: If it's lip safe it's eye safe?
i don't have any scientific backing but I think of the ccb i just bought or even pigments online. It lists the ones that are not to go on lips, not to go on eyes etc. IE Virgin Isle ccb is lip safe but not eye safe.
