Question Pigment precautions on Insert in new Teal pigment
Hi-
On the precautions list here, there is a precaution for safetly only for Teal's batch #A64. On the insert on my brand new teal pigment from the MAC store, it reads:

The following shades of pigment are not eyesafe:
Chocolate Brown
Cornflower
Dark Soul (!!!)
Fairy Lite
Golden Lemon
Naked
Teal

The following shades of pigment are not lipsafe:
Cornflower
Dark Soul
Fairy Lite
Kitchmas
Blue Storm
Teal
Violet

Which do I follow?
Thanks!
Becca

eh, technically both. It's telling you that the pigments that are on both lists are neither eye nor lip safe.
I think.

I just looked and it's batch A64 - this is a brand new one but it's still the non-eyesafe batch. I am emailing MAC for suggestions and to find out if there is an eyesafe batch I can exchange it for.

This is something I am aware of, and looking into. This has been brought up previously in various threads.

it may be because there could be components in there that MAY cause irritation, so they let you know first just in case someone goes sueing them. i've personally tried most of those on my eyes...still not blind yet...

Contacted MAC and they are sending me a new one!
Allegedly, MAC is sending me a new batch so I am sending the non-eyesafe batch to an MUAer for swap - she is aware of the issues and is willing to take it and use it. Will post again when and if the new one arrives. Tx!!!

Wait, what should I then use their pigments for? Only nails?
