Pigments...

Just treat me like an ignorramous here but what pigments are "supposedly" not eye safe... a general list would be really helpful. Thanx in advance!

Why do you say that? I am aware that Goldenaire and Lovely Lily need to be added (I'm holding pending swatches for them, as the info on their status is posted here), I generally do maintenance work on that monthly though. Why, is there something you noticed that I missed?

not really, thats the best list i've ever seen. ever. but there needs to be some pictures added. some ccb's i want to swap for but i dont know what they look like. thats all.

Ahh, well, swatches are hard to come by with some products. I don't by any stretch of the imagination have all the products that MAC has made, and thus have to rely on others for swatches. I am very particular about the swatches being true-to-life in color, etc. and some things are just really hard to come by image wise. Getting all the swatches I have so far took almost 3 years. I wish there were more swatches, but I'm at the mercy of the masses for that.

Just wondering about the status of the pigments that were supposedly made eye-safe in newer batches, but that were listed on the most recent pigment insert as not eye-safe. Has there been any update on that situation?

Wow, this is great info. I am looking at samples on eBay and am so glad I looked here first, because looking at these swatched made me change my mind on which ones to get. I am sure I will be happy with my purchase now!

Hi,

I was at a MAC store recently and asked an MA about any pigments being eye-safe (I told her that I had NAKED and some others) and she just kind of looked at me funny and said, "Of course they ALL are..what else would you want to use them for?" Then I went home and opened one of my pigment boxes that I've never used because of this dilemma, and there on the enclosure listed the pigments that WEREN'T eye safe...NAKED included...

Hmmmm...

I may do so, however I try to obtain swatches which I know are true to life.

Hmmmm...

If you check the precautions list, some batches of Naked are eye-safe. Take a look. Sadly, MAC employees are often under-educated in this area.
