Platinum Gloss
I searched around, but didn't find anything on it in particular so here it goes!

Last night I was at M∙A∙C and discovered these mixing glosses. The MA told me that they're a pro product, and that people use it to duplicate lipsticks/glosses that aren't made anymore. Well, I got all excited and tried on the purple one (forget the name) with Platinum gloss. I adored the result on my lips, but then hours after I bought it I came home and opened the box to find it's not lip safe?? I called and spoke to the silky voice euro man that makes me feel like a super model every time I go to M∙A∙C (lol) and he told me that it's more for allergies that they put the warning, not that it's poisonous or anything. Is this the right information? I had it on last night all night and nothing negative seemed to happen, so is it safe for me, really?

Re: Platinum Gloss
If you didn't get any reactions then I think it should be okay for you, but I have no idea...

Re: Platinum Gloss
I won't recommend using it, coz u will end up swallow some product, and the warning maybe there because certain ingridients are toxic. My guess is that it's the toxic level is quite low, so not enough to make u sick immediately, but however still toxic

Re: Platinum Gloss
I don't think ingestion is the worry. Your lips are more sensitive than the skin on your face, so I suspect some people are more apt to have a localized reaction to these "non-lip-safe" products than others may be.

If you want to stay on the extra-safe side, ask your MA about LipMix, which are similar to the Gloss products, but specifically made for lips. I love the violet one.
