Sanitizing MSFs?

So I recently recieved a used msf. How would I go about sanitizing it before using it? I'm guessing I could just wipe it with a paper towel and it should be fine... but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

I think scraping off the top layer. Probably using a paper towel to do should be fine.

I was wondering about the same thing

Maybe one spray of rubbing alcohol wont hurt? Using just the paper towel can possibly just spread the dirt or bacteria

Yes; I sprayed a very light mist of alcohol on mine....

you can get alcohol at any regular drugstore or grocery store, normal rubbing alcohol is fine.

EnKoremakeup on YouTube says to simply just take a tissue and wipe off the top layer. Same with all your other powders! Simple!

no need to scrape the top layer or use alcohol. just take a tissue (a paper towel may gouge the powder) and wipe off the top layer. works on all powder products.
