Question shadesticks safe for lips??
ok, so i've scoured the boards and can't seem to find an answer. i used gracious me s/s lightly on my lips yesterday and it seemed fine, but i don't want to do it if it's not safe! does anyone know about this? T.I.A.!

I've used them on my lips a few times and nothing bad happened. If they were really bad for your lips, wouldn't there be a little paper or something on the packaging that says not lip safe, like some pigments have.

The only thing I would worry about is it drying my lips. If it doesn't dry yours, then I would guess that it's okay for them. I wouldn't think they'd put any chemicals in them that would be harmful since they are an eye product.

shadesticks are lip safe they're safe for use all over the face and body. or so i'm told by several MAC MAs. alot of the girls and boys at my counter have started using shadesticks on their lips daily! it adds a nice little bit of subtle shimmer

Re: shadesticks safe for lips??
Oh, most definitely!
I wore Mangomix s/t, Chicory l/p, and Clear Lipglass this past Sat and they sold out It was a hit...I definitely recommend

PS..Silverbleu s/t with Reflects Blue glitter on top, albeit kinda drying, is a wonderful "Ice Queen" look for Halloween!

Re: shadesticks safe for lips??
i e-mailed mac (mail an artist thing) about how to make blast o blue lipstick look bluer, and they recommended using one sea me shadestick under it on your lips.
i hadn't thought of it so i've used overcast randomly on my lips with clear lipglass on top and i liked it but it might be a bit too frosty
