Sunsparked Pearl & Shell Pearl b/powders

Just a Q from my mother - she visited MAC last week and the MA demonstrated both Sunsparked Pearl and Shell Pearl on her, including dusting them on her eyelids.

She rang me that night and said that her eyelids were slightly puffy and tender to the touch but she didn't notice any immediate effects when the powders were dusted on her lids. Are either of these not eye safe?

Does she have any problems with the pink or purple shadows/pigments with red dye in them? I am thinking of the dye in Hepcat, Nocturnelle, In Living Pink, etc. that could have caused the problem. I can't wear purples and some pinks because of the dye. I think this could be her problem.Sorry that she had to go thru that!

Not Intended for Eye Use...
The beauty powders are fine if they're dusted over the eye like a powder- but they're not reccomended for use like an eyeshadow - so if she demo'd it that way she didn't pay attention at update or do her homework... if you're concerned or if she's got a specific allergy pm me and I'll pull the ingredient list out of my pkm for you.

Thanks maxcat! From what I gathered it was dusted on her lids (no other powder or creme product as a barrier) with a blush brush. Mum hasn't got any ingredient or pigment allergies that I know of, I'll pass on that it's a NES product and that she needs to keep it away from her peepers.

Think of the beauty powder like MAC bronzers - which also aren't reccomended for eyes.
