Transfering pigments/sanitation
I just received my curiositease collection and I have a tough time getting my brushes into the tiny pigment jars without making a mess. So I went to the craft store and bought a bunch of plastic containers with screw top lids. I am just curious how and if I should sanitize these before transferring my pigments. I don't know how people do it when putting sample pigments into containers...any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Re: Transfering pigments/sanitation
put some alcohol onto a tissue and thoroughly wipe down the inside of the container and lid. once its dry, then you can transfer your pigments into them.

Re: Transfering pigments/sanitation
i've never done the pigment sampling thing, but if you spray it the containers down with rubbing alcohol that should sanitize it and let it air dry. the higher the concentration of alcohol, the faster it will dry. but i also learned in microbiology, that because it evaporates faster, the alcohol will not have enough time to kill all of the germs, so you may have to repeat a few times just to be safe.
hope that helps!
