80's Themed Party
One of my friends is having a graduation party, and everyone has to dress like they're in an 80's rock band. I think so far I'm wearing a plain black wifebeater, short denim skirt and black boots, and a black fedora, but if you ladies could give me some advice for edgy, bold makeup that resembles an 80's band I'd appreciate it so so much.

I think you couldn't go wrong with a bold eye with blackest black liner and mascara, foundation maybe a shade too pale, red lips. Not too goth, though.

I don't know what your hair is like, but maybe some "out there" teased hair or a messy straight style would be a bit more "rock and roll" than the fedora.

Here are a few images for inspiration, hope they help!

Re: 80's Themed Party
Thank you so much, I LOVE the messy straight idea (and now I don't have to buy a fedora lol), and the pics were a huge help

Re: 80's Themed Party
When you mentioned the fedora the first thing that came to my mind was Boy George. Yeah, I know he's a man, but he wears more make-up than *I* ever would. Here are some links:

Uh...please forgive the site location of this one, I tried to find a different one, but it's the only copy of that picture I could find.

And coincidentally, he was a Viva Glam model, so there's even a MAC facechart for you to follow

That's gonna be fun...can I come? Hahaa

Ooh, or you could be like Siouxsie Sioux:

That would also be fun.

Re: 80's Themed Party
Thanks so much!! Those looks are awesome, but yikes, I'd need to practice those alot! I'm definately using those as inspiration though!! I really like the idea of the liner straying off into sorta lightning bolts
