Going to Spain in february! Traveling with makeup help!
I will going to Spain with my Spanish class and I will be gone for 8 days.
I've never been out of the country and I was wondering what to bring and What not to bring for makeup?
I was thinking getting mark or nyx makeup instead of bringing my mac and my nice brushes.

Re: Going to Spain in february! Traveling with makeup help!
you'll love spain! i lived the for 7 years and i was so sad when i came back to england.
the majority of spanish girls dont wear loads of makeup they just keep it looking natural.
take the essentials like foundation, powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara and a couple of lippys and eye shadows.
if you're worried about ur mac makeup just get some cheaper drugstore stuff. thats what im planning to do when i go on holiday in a couple of weeks. which part of spain are you going to?

Bump.
Another Question:
Should I bring my makeup in my carry on or put it in my suitcase?

if i was u id put my liquids in my suitcase and any makeup that isnt likely to get broken. sometimes security can be fussy about liquids in hand luggage. any powders like blusher or eye shadow id put in ur hand luggage

Re: Going to Spain in february! Traveling with makeup help!
I travel with NARS Multiples. They do everything, you can carry them on the plane, they don't crush, break, etc. Wet and Wild makes their own version on the multiples. You can use them as shadow, lipstick, highlighter and bronzer. They go from a cream into a powder finish.
If I had to be stuck on a desert island, I'd want Malibu Multiple with me. I carry it everywhere. Its a pinky brown color that looks great on lips and cheeks and lasts forever because its huge. I think its awesome that Wet and Wild can make similar multipurpose tube products for under four bucks that can make you look like a million.....

Re: Going to Spain in february! Traveling with makeup help!
yeap! i second the multiples. you have less worry of breakage and theyre so versatile - blush, bronzer, highlight, lips, eyes - less things to worry about forgetting in the hotel! pack a palette with a day look and night look eyeshadows. i know its hard to narrow it down! to protect your brushes try to get your hands on a brushroll, and one with pockets is even better. mine holds 5 or 6 brushes and then has different compartments for makeup and stuff.
and what ive learned from all my experiences in travelling..... remember, whereever you go, there ARE people who live there, which means there are stores and stuff so if you forget anything its not that serious... its just another excuse to go shopping!
