Light Shades and Darker Shades
I was searching but couldn't find anything!

Sorry if this has been brought up before...

Question:

Do you do darker shades on your crease and lighter on your lid or the other way around?

Same here....

I can wear a light shade in my crease only if it's a matte color; i.e., I'll wear a dark lid color w/a slightly lighter matte crease color.

Hope that makes sense.

I think it depends on the look you're after. Either is fine, don't stress about it is the important thing.

Eg. Woodwinked on the lid, expensive pink in the crease....but the other way around works as well. It's all in the blending a lot of the time.

Exactly. To each their own, I say.

Re: Light Shades and Darker Shades
I use darker in the outer half of my crease and lighter on my eye...depends on how what effect you want to go for, too.
