lining the lower lash line
Hi girls.

I enjoy the look of a fully lined eye, but I can never get it to work for me. Do you reccommend always smudging the liner on the lower lash line? When I line my waterline, it disappears after a short while.

I mean, how thick a line on the bottom lash line can a person get away with? I don't want a thin wimpy line that barely shows but I don't want to be overly dramatic either.

I'm also weary of lining in the inner corner of my eyes on the lower lash line because it tends to.. clump?.. in there later on in the day. Gross!

Any tips? Thanks.

if you want to line your waterline, try technakohl liners. theyre made for that and tend to stay longer than other liners.

i smudge my eyeliner on the bottom lashline according to the look im going for. sometimes i do.. wlel what you call a "wimpy" lol line, depending on the look also. the rule for me is if im wearing light/neautral/non-smokey/non-dramatic makeup, i'll barely line the bottom because it overpowers my eyes and takes away for everything else. none the less it makes my eyes look kinda droopy, having so much on the bottom and not the top

if im doing a smokey smokey eye, i do smudge my bottom liner.
if im doing bright colors, i tend not to.
also, i dont use pencil liners.. i tend to stick with fluidline, theyre smooth and bold. for that light/neutral look, i use eyeshadow. carbon, black tied, etc.

also, about how thick is too thick.. i think that depends on how dramatic your eyes are. like before, if its a light neutral look, the thickness of the liner shouldnt be as baaaamm as a smokey look, imo.

hth

i use a MAC powerpoint pencil to do my waterline and it always stays on pretty well if you want to do your lower lashline, i suggest smudging it...again, i use a powerpoint for this stuff, i just draw a line that's about twice the width of the tip of the pencil and then smudge it with either a smudger or a q-tip...that way it's got a little bit of drama, but not TOO much HTH!
