Orange and blue eyeshadow combo.. HELP!!!!
Hi all! I need help on a eye shadow color combination. So I'm going to see my favorite team (Florida Gators) kick the crap out of Kentucky tomorrow, and I can't think of any way to do my make up! Their colors are orange and blue. I want to wear both colors as eyeshadow but they do not blend well! Can anyone think of any placement ideas? I have a bunch of blues and oranges in pigments and shadows...

I was thinking blue on lid, orange in creasee, with a little white inbetween to help it blend more?

Anyone have any ideas??
OR better yet... any FOTD's using blue and orange eye shadow?!?

Thanks!!

First off...booo Gators!
LOL, just kidding....not really.
But I graduated from USF and we're #1 team in FL right now so I gotta rep.

Hmmm....well I'm thinking you could mix up Firespot and Freshwater or Blue Clam or Electric eel up into your crease. Like a 1/2 orange and 1/2 blue look blended nicely up into your crease.

Or if you're into pigments Acid orange and Off the Radar are good.
I don't have any FOTDs with orange/blue but I just did a orange/black look today that I posted. I'm thinking you could do the same thing except use a "blue" where my Carbon e/s is. Good luck on figuring something out!

Re: Orange and blue eyeshadow combo.. HELP!!!!
How about Melon pigment in the inner half of your eye, and Blue pigment on the outer half of your eye? Use them wet if you really want them bright. Pigments are very easy to blend.

Re: Orange and blue eyeshadow combo.. HELP!!!!
i would use orange e/s for the lid, and maybe freshwater/electric eel/ jewel blue into the crease. like you said, perhaps use a white to blend them out a bit, as orange mixed with blue gets a tad bit muddy. then line the lower lash line half the way with your blue, and the other half with orange. blend those with a white too, and then as a highlight to your brow and tear ducts! HTH! =)
