Studiofix liquid & powder?

I love the Studiofix liquid foundation, but I never liked the powder version because it settled into my pores, didn't give enough coverage & seemed to just wear off before the end of the day. But, I was wondering how the two would work together? Like for special occasions when I want really perfect coverage, I was thinking I could use my 187 brush to buff the Studiofix powder over the liquid & maybe it would look really nice. What do you all think? Has anyone else tried this?

I find it toooooo much with studiofix powder...- it goes a bit cakey imo.... best with a standard loose.
I break it up halfway thru my shift with Fix+, wait for it to dry and then buff buff buff.
