What are the 5 most popular neutral lip colors that are part of the permanent collection?
The most popular neutrals according to a recent poll conducted in Live Journal’s MAC community and Makeup Alley are, in no particular order:

High Tea (lipstick)
Fresh Brew (lipstick)
Viva Glam V (lipstick and lipglass)
C-Thru (lipglass)
Love Nectar (lustreglass)

Likewise, the most popular reds are:

Fresh Moroccan (lipstick)
Russian Red (lipstick and lipglass)
Ruby Woo (lipstick)
Viva Glam I (lipstick)
Dubonnet (lipstick)

Out of those 5 reds which one is um blue based? I have an olive skin tone and i am thinking bout buying a redlipstick and adding clear gloss on top which one would be the best?

I love reds and I adore Fresh Moroccan and Viva Glam I and I used to love Dubonnet before I lost it (sadness!) but I also love tassle and think it's interesting enough to deserve a vote.

When we did the polls, only permanent collection shades were eligible for votes, as limited edition colors come and go so much that the list would become outdated within a week or so. This allows us to have a list of the 'classics' as it were.

first of all thanks for tha list. now for the question...which of the colors look well on darker skin women? lipstick and lipglass.

As far as the reds go, darker skinned women should generally go for brown based reds. Blue based tend to look...odd on darker complextions IMO. I have olive skin and I bought Love Nectar just recently and I love it. That's about all I can offer, though. Hope I helped :P

My fav red is Russian Red.
It looks awsome with retrospeck e/s, cat eye (blacktrack fluidline)

I love blue based reds

I'm NC50 and out of the nudes on that list I have (and wear religiously): Fresh Brew, High Tea and C-Thru (with a brown liner)

For the reds Viva Glam I is so pretty. I used that with my lips lined with Mahogany and Venetian lustreglass on top...soo purrty.

I think Dubonnet is flattering on a variety of skintones. So gorgeous.
