I'm finding this particular shadow really difficult to apply, perhaps I was using the wrong brush (#242) but it just doesn't go on as nicely and evenly as my other veluxe pearl e/s, I can't apply it sheerly (it's either super-bright or not at all showing) and it takes ages for it to get to show even with a base. Might be a tad too cool for my complexion or perhaps I just prefer darker violets/purples. But at present, I'm not quite understanding the fuss over this eyeshadow.

I was disappointed in this eye shadow. Lavendar Sky sounds so pretty, but this eye shadow is more pink. This eye shadow reminds me of Stars N Rockets without the duochrome. It doesn't really show up on me alone. This eye shadow looks good with Iris Print. Like others have said this Veluxe Pearl was harder to blend well.

I realy love this color. Its a light purple without any blue sheen or undertone, its closer to pink than blue.
It isnt to bright, I realy love this color!

You can pull-off this color looking almost natural if you tone it down with a matt pink or purple...
Or it can be pulled off as a bright vibrant color used with darker colors.

My favorite so far:
-mink pink as a base, lavender sky in the outer corner and haux in the crease, vanilla or shroom on the browbone
-Lavender sky as a wash, dove feather in the crease, shroom or vanilla on the browbone
-noctunelle as a thick, smokey e/l with prunella kohl on the lash line, lavender sky on the lid, shroom or vanilla on the brow bone

I'm an NW15/N5 and I really like this shadow. It's a very pretty color and I love it with so many other colors (good with iris print and love bud, good with bitter and humid, good with spring up and samoa silk).

I actually really like this shadow... it's a pretty purple! i didnt think i would like it at all because it looked really pink but when you put it on it has a bit of a purple sparkle and looks really nice with almost anything. i havent found it hard to blend, its not as smooth as most VPs but it's not a lustre or anything, so i really have no issues with it! i just wish they would have had it in pro pallet, i dont think it was worth the 13.50 i had to pay!

They shouldn't have called this a veluxe pearl, because it's not. It has a gritty unpearl texture. But the color is very pretty. Not what I expected, but a pretty vibrant pink with a hint of purple.
