General comments:
I thought there was no way it could even work on my skintone (olive, more yellow than tan at present) but tried it, and pure love. On its own it is this rich matte chocolate brown that seems to blend into my skintone seamlessly.
Then I had a brainwave - why don't I try applying MAC Sumptuous Olive whose olive is not obvious on me. Voila, bang, out comes the olive and the complexity of the shadow - yellow, gold and khaki resplendent! On top of Naturalism paint, it looks like burnished gold leaf, no more hideous silver shimmer.
I usually stray away from warm colours because they look too plain on me (though I believe it's supposed to be perfect for my colour) but Naturalism is showing me that I really ought to consider.
I only wish that other MAC paints were as velvety, easy-to-apply and devoid of shimmer! This and Matisserie have won my heart over to paints, and MAC in general. Choosing to discontinue this is just rotten.
