I have always been afraid of darker lip colors, because i am very pale. Sex ray was a good alternative to a super dark lipstick because of the sheerness. it can be worn alone, or with a lipstick under it. the only problem i had was the glitter... it was a bit too large. Tiny glitter would have made this product flawless!

I absolutely love the color in the tube, but unfortunately, it doesn't translate well to my lips. Color payoff is horrible, IMHO. It goes on very uneven on me. I have to put on a few layers just to make my lips one color. The glitter, I also found, was a little too "chunky" for my liking.

It also doesn't want to stay on either. It really felt like I had to apply it every hour on the hour.

I had very high hopes with this, but I was so disappointed.

I love it and got several back ups! On me, it's a super sheer shimmery cherry-berry pink lipgloss with decent golden and margenta glimmer. It looks very bright in the ward, but turns our really wearable.
Yes, there is some gitter in the l/s, but the key is to apply it really accurate and not too thick, maybe with a extra lip brush. One layer is the perfect "just bitten" look with some sparkes, two layers on top of l/s Lure are great for nude eye make up and lots of black mascara. My small lips look full and pouty with this gloss (while nude glosses tend to wash me out). My fave lip product by MAC in 2006 so far. LOVE!

Despite all the negative reviews on MUA, I took the plunge because my sis-in-law liked it better than Lure l/s. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the texture, colour payoff and the glitter factor. 1 application makes for a nice sheer look, just-bitten as someone above described. In comparison to Tres Cher, which I love, it is more magenta, has glitter instead of gold frost and is definitely more sheer. Though it's darker in the tube, TC has the colour payoff you'd expect from SR.

I say maybe for buying it again b/c I would, only if it were cheap on eBay or at a CCO. The glitter is a bit of a turn-off for more professional atmospheres, me-thinks.
