General Comments on this product:

I've only tried 2 MAC lipsticks, and was a bit disappointed after my initial experience with Dainty Cake l/s, but Monarch was exactly what I was searching for. It's a bright coral, much more pink than Dainty Cake, and the shimmer is much easier on the eye and lip - it doesn't get stuck into every lip crevice and make you look crusty. Some say it's very bright, but I wouldn't say that. It's lovely, though, very nice paired with the newly released Lure lipliner (which I also purchased). It also seems to be much less drying than DC which is great news for my lips! The colour stays true and is very long-lasting (I wore it on a 6-hour workshift to find it hadn't faded very much at all), and I'd be hunting down a replacement if I finished my tube. Very glad I gave MAC frost lipsticks another go!

This is such a lovely pinky coral color... I'm not that much a fan of frost l/s, but this one is a gem..
