Would you buy this product again? don't think so

General Comments on this product:
this foundation feels like silk to apply, but only covers like a tinted moisturizer (although it's billed as a foundation)... also, it made me break out unlike anything a MAC product has ever done to my skin. the packaging also makes it difficult to apply on-the-go, because there's no room in the compact for a m/u sponge (which it does not come with). the plus-side is that the color was an exact match for my skin (NW20), which is very very rare... for someone without periodic acne (i don't even have it bad!), and who desires a lighter-coverage foundation that they can apply at their leisure, then this is a good product for them, but not me ops:

I like this compact foundation. It's got a light, silky texture and goes on very easily. It is on the sheerer side on the coverage spectrum, but it can be layered without becoming flakey or chunky for more opacity. I love that it has SPF (even if it is only 15) and that it is the size of a regular compact, for easy carry-around. The sponge that it is provided with seems to absorb a lot of the foundation, which is kind of a waste, especially since it only comes in .5 oz sizes.

Would you buy this product again? Nope.

General Comments: Like AnGeLNS363, it made me break out almost instantaneously. And the breakouts themselves were different from my usual breakouts, they were super-itchy! I've never reacted this way to any other MAC products in the past. I had to stop using it after 2 days. If you have normal to combination skin like me, I don't think that this foundation would be the best choice because even with a thin layer, it wouldn't dry (even set w/ loose powder). And the longer I had it on, the oilier it looked. Again, like AnGeLNS363, it did match my skin colour EXACTLY (NC30)... that's the only thing I'll miss about this product.

Would you buy this product again? Yes, I plan to.

General Comments: I purchased this in March and wore it until the heat of summer (June) then switched to TM for the summer. I have started to wear it again, and am just as pleased as I was in the spring. I wish it came in C shades, but SA matched me to NC40 (rather than C40) not quite a perfect match but close. I find this to be good coverage over my hyperpigmentation and I do set with loose powder. Only my nose seems to get shiny during the day (may look into Mac Blot), everything else stays the same-not matte, not dewy, just kind of satin-y. I apply with 190. Applying with the sponge just wasted a lot of product. After 4 months of use, I have about 50% remaining in my compact.

Buy Again? NO WAY

again more MAC foundation that broke me out! i dont know what it is about their foundation. This in particular felt very heavy on my face. The colors do run a little bit darker then the regular foundations. Only good thing is that it comes in a variety of shades and you should be able to find one that matches.

I have this in NC30, which surprised me at the time, as I'm generally very fair-skinned; however I bought this after being in the sun a lot so I guess I tanned! Interestingly, the assistant put on NC20 on one cheek and NC30 on the other, then handed me a mirror to check it outside - and they looked virtually the same in natural daylight...

General Comments: It's a shame there seems to be so little of it, but I do really like this foundation. I have very problematic skin (v. prone to constant breakouts, unfortunately) but it doesn't seem to react particularly to this, which is fantastic - the best thing is, it feels like it's moisturising your skin. It does sit rather like a greasy mask unless you use powder - I bought this with Blot Powder in Medium, which works brilliantly with it. The packaging is neat: I like the lift-up compartment which reveals the sponge - but I don't use the sponge that came with it as I don't want it to absorb and waste the product! (I use #213 - pathetically small I know, but it came in my set so i'll have to do until I can afford a #190...). It lasts longer if you buff it with a powder/blush brush before applying powder.

I have very dry skin. This is the only foundation that does not make my skin look like a flaky mess - my skin stays smooth and glowy with this. I absolutely love this. I've had no problems with breakouts (my skin is so dry it is unlikely!). I apply this with the 190 foundation brush and buff it out with the small buffer.

I love almost everything about this foundation - it's easy to put on, the color is a perfect match for me (this may be a first), the coverage is perfect. It's sheer enough to not look like a mask, but covers redness and irritation and the occasional breakout. The problem is that no matter how much I exfoliate, I still get flakey. I'm so bummed, because other than that this is really, really lovely.

I bought this thinking it would be great for my dry skin. The coverage is sheer but buildable. Application is a pain. This must be applied with a brush then buffed a lot to get an even finish. My biggest issue is with how it feels on the skin. It's wet, greasy, and heavy. I felt uncomfortable when I wore it. It did stay put most of the day.

I so love some Mac products - all the powder products and the cream color bases especially, and I am always on the quest for the "perfect" foundation for my very sensitive, dry and super pale skin.
This stuff in NC15 looks beautiful on, especially when I apply it with a foundation brush and even it with a damp sponge (otherwise it can decide to collect into pores you never KNEW you had, like the other 3 Mac foundation formulations I have) but a minute or two after application, on top of my regular skin care moisturizer and Prep and Prime, it BURNS, especially on my cheeks and around my lip area.
It looks so pretty, glowy and natural that I tried it several times, hoping against hope that the burning would not happen. Alas, I finally gave up, after I developed red, inflamed patches on both cheeks that went scaly the next morning and prevented me from using makeup for days. The latter is not a normal reaction to any foundation for me - only MoistureBlend and StudioFix Fluid have this effect. HyperReal doesn't, neither does the Full Coverage nor any of my Mac concealers.
May not be for the hyper sensitive?

I Just bought this foundation and it smells weird. It covers fine but if you have blemishes you need to use conceler. (I have use foundation that you dont need conceler with if you have acne). I haven't worn it all day yet so I don't know if it lasts. The color is a perfect match. I have oily skin and it absorbs oil very well. Over all so far I like it but very pricy for such a small amount.

I'm a MAC artist and just smapled myself out some Moisturebelnd foundation this week. It's my new favortie foundation. I have dry skin that I have an handle on but this makes my skin feel even better. I have been using the Studio Stick Foundation which I love but this is my new favorite. I love the amount of coverage, sheer to medium and it's just so comfortable on the skin. Although it's a cream it doesn't feel heavy at all. It wears beautifully even after a long day and even in the 95+ weather. Use this over Prep+Prime skin and you will LOOOVE it! I'm going to be using this on a lot more customers. As soon as my Studio Stick is out, I'm going to buy a Moistureblend !

I purchased this b/c my skin is so dry in the winter I was told this is like the best thing for this, I think it's too thick I like smooth products. But it's good coverage and matched my skin so sure I would use it maybe next winter..
