I scored this with all 5's because it truly is a very very pretty rich chocolate bronze color and blends like a dream.. That being said, it was a little too dark for me..IMHO, used for contouring it would be perfect. I'll keep the one I bought because I used it lightly with my 187 across the W of my face, and it didn't look too bad.. I'll probably end up using this more as an eyeshadow than as an allover powder tho.. :thumbsup:

As the Lovely JP said before me, this is WAY too dark for me, being a shade of alabaster white. Its so dark it almost has a purple undertone to it, I cannot see using this on my face, but perfect for a smokey eye or lining...

it's a lovely color, great for eyeshadow, and the pan will last me forever with the size of it. it blends out very very well. now the other colors, i'm getting backups of all of them because i can see myself reaching for any of them quite often and i know i'll go through them eventuallly and won't want to not have them lol.

When I saw this one I thought it would be too dark for me, when I asked the MA at my counter they said it would be too dark for me (I'm a NW20). So at first I did not buy it.
I went back in 5 days later and it sat there on it's stand tempting me so I decided to buy it and figured that I could use it as an e/s if it was too dark for my face.
But it actually looks pretty good on my face if used lightly and looks amazing on the eyes. I love it so much.
Don't be put of if you have fair skin cause it's gorgeous.

Metal Rock is a dark bronzey brown, but if applied lightly with a 187 brush it can look amazing on lighter complexions. I love to use Skinfinishes on my entire face for everything from eyes to lips- makes a fabulous look. Metal Rock is gorgeous used wet on the eyes with New Vegas as a underbrow highlighter( used wet). One of the best colors.

As a note, I dropped mine the day after I got it and they were sold out. Finally found another out of NYC, but managed to wet the shattered cake and press it down, bake it in the sun and it is fine- looks smushed, but works the same.

These are very fragile, so don't drop them, OK?

If I did not have the 187 brush, I would not use these.

It was tha last one I got because I thought it would be waay to dark on me. Until the MA put it on me with the 187 brush and it was perfect. U just gotta put it on lightly. And it looks beautiful as a e/s... and even better when its wet!!! wow the gorgeous!!!

This is a darker brown color with gold veining. I dont even use it as a blush since it is very dark. I bought it since it is LE and im a sucker for it. I have only used this on my eyes. The only time i did use it as a blush i put New Vegas on top to lighten it up. Even then it was too dark and i applied with a 187 brush. Im a nc 30-35 for reference.

I love this color. When I saw it I was really happy because MAC had finally made a bronzer for dark skinned women. I am light skinned and thought it was too dark for me. But when I told the MA, who is my complexion, se said she loved it and wore it as a contour. I waited about a week and went back and got it. I am so glad I did. I have only used it as a bronzer (although it's a little glittery for that) and as a contour. It's great. I have to try it on my eyes next!

I must say i was a bit afraid and took verry long before i got one. I finaly did and i allready love this msf. it's so versatyle!. Emidiatly i had to do a look to see how this would look on me. i applyd it as an e/s (combo with a e/s as highlighter), lips (wth clear lipgloss) and cheeks (combo with new vegas as highligter) and this turned out as a gorgous neutral look. I realy love this msf.
